• Non-profit / charity inquiries
• Contact pathways
• Future membership and onboarding forms

Typical information includes business or organization name, contact name, email, phone, website, location/service area, category, and a description of what you offer. You decide what to submit.

Applications and admin-review information are not public. Business information only becomes publicly visible on VanIsleLocal after our review and approval. Imported business data is not publicly exposed unless reviewed and approved.

VanIsleLocal may use information you submit to:

• Review applications for Vancouver Island relevance and category fit
• Communicate with applicants about their submission
• Assess service-area clarity, completeness, and basic business information
• Manage membership interest and onboarding

No payment processing is currently live on VanIsleLocal. If and when payments are enabled in the future, this notice will be updated to describe the payment provider and what information they receive.

VanIsleLocal may use third-party tools in the future for payments, transactional email, analytics, or infrastructure. These are not connected today. When they are connected, this notice will be updated.

We do not sell personal information. We do not enable third-party advertising on this site. We may share submitted information only as needed to operate the platform (for example, with infrastructure providers) or where required by law.

We take reasonable steps to protect submitted information. No online service can guarantee perfect security. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing.

You can ask us to update or remove information you have submitted by contacting us through the contact pathway on this site. Some records may be retained for legitimate operational, audit, or legal reasons.
